Jeg er helt tosset med Porcupine Tree og denne plade er bare bevis for, at de er for fede.

In english: I am crazy about Porupine Tree and this album proves they rock.

Ah, PT. I wouldn't say I'm a fan but I do like some of their progressive rock stuffs after being introduced by a muzak maniac friend some years back. Some latest news on them highlighted by that friend!

Porcupine Tree drummer Gavin Harrison has been fired from the band with immediate effect. Steven Wilson, the creative influence behind the band cited irreconcilable artistic and musical differences and confirmed that Gavin would be replaced by ex-White Stripes drummer Meg White. Wilson said that Meg White's virtuoso talent was easily a match for Harrison and she would have no problem with a 15/8 time sig or whatever that Gavin bloke used to go on about. Harrison has responded to the sacking by claiming Wilson has 'girly-hair' and that his tee-shirts are too small. He was last seen buying several boxes of thumb-tacks but claimed this was unrelated to the fact that Wilson always plays barefoot.

Yup, this is the new drummer for PT officially ...............

Sorry to say Chong, but that is an april fool joke. NO WAY she could replace him - no offence. But Gavin is one of the worlds best drummer IMO. And I doubt that Steven Wilson would fire Gavin

No problomo If they had said another great drummer - maybe I would have thought about it. On the other hand - in the "official" statement GH said that SW had girly hair and he was wierd always performing in barefood But it was a good joke .

Jeg har også selv en 3-4 andre, herunder Bernstein, Rattle og Kubelik - men denne med Karajan er den aller mest medrivende version jeg har lyttet til endnu. Den første gang jeg hørte den tog jeg hovedtelefonerne af efter 2. sats og 5. sats begge gange efterfulgt af et højt "WOOOW"
